New Hampshire Adventure Elopement Photographer / White Mountain Elopement Photographer
Janna and Connor chose to have a White Mountain elopement on one of the best hikes in Franconia Notch. What makes a more stunning backdrop than the White Mountains fall foliage? Not much if you ask me! Their day was straight out of a fairy-tail and nothing less than perfect. Style along with adventure together is what mattered most to them.
Fall Picnic
They had a beautiful little picnic spread just the two of them before packing up for their hike. Full of fall colors, sweets, fruit and yummy drinks, this was the perfect way to fuel up for a couple mile hike for the perfect adventure elopement day. A picnic on your elopement day is such a fun way to put a little more meaning behind your day and still make sure you are ready for a day full of adventure. Sunset Hike
Franconia Notch is full of some of the best sunset hikes near me, so when Janna + Connor mentioned they would like to incorporate a sunset adventure into their elopement day, I knew just where to bring them! It sure did not disappoint. We took our time hiking up to the summit enjoying each step of the way. They were so darn cute helping each other up rock scrambles along the way. After reaching the summit, they were in awe of the stunning views, and so happy they decided to go with NH as their adventure location.
First Look
After enjoying the view for a little bit, it was time to get ready for their first look and ceremony. There was a perfect little area on the summit surrounded by pine trees where Janna got ready. Connor hid off on another section of the mountain top change and put on dress shoes. I’m not going to lie, I think Janna + Connor had one of the best first looks and I am so honored I was the one to capture it! Janna decided to switch things up and bring a hiking wedding dress to change into on the summit! Connor was shocked and it was such a sweet moment to be a part of. Both of her dresses were stunning, but the flow of the tule through the glow of sunset was so fairy-tail esk. They both helped each other with the final touches of putting on the boutonniere and doing up the back of Jannas dress.
Mountain Top Wedding Ceremony
Once they had a moment to take it all in, they started their ceremony. I'm an ordained officiant in the state of NH so it was easy for me to sign their marriage license. They exchanged vows and it was so sweet to watch and capture. There were laughs and tears, they clearly put so much emotion and meaning into writing their vows for each other. The sun was just starting to go down and give off that soft orangey glow that just lit them up so beautifully as they exchanged their vows.
After their ceremony it was time to celebrate! They were both so excited and full of joy. We got some couple portraits and enjoyed the mountain top sunset until the sun hid behind the distant peaks. We then made our way back to the trail to head back down to their next adventure.
Dinner under the stars
Once we made our way back down the trail to our cars, we headed back to the Airbnb they were staying at for the weekend. They had a romantic dinner under the stars catered right on the porch of the airbnb. It was a gorgeous set up and delicious meal. After dinner it was time for cutting the cake, and let me tell you it was the best wedding cake I have ever had! We then celebrated with sparklers and they enjoyed the rest of their evening with family.
Their day was truly perfect and I am so honored I got to be a part of it and adventure alongside them.
