A White Mountains Elopement Photographer Who puts Experience first

I believe your wedding day should feel like something you truly lived – not something you performed.
That belief guides everything about how I work, from the planning that happens before your day, to the way I capture it once we're there.
Behind the scenes, I handle the details – locations, timing, permit guidance, backup weather plans – so none of it lingers in your mind when the day finally comes. Once we're together, I step back to give you the space to be you an enjoy your day, each other, the emotions, all of it.

Inspired by nature, guided by your story

Meet Your White Mountains Elopement Photographer
Hey, I'm Caroleanne!
Here to preserve your story one adventure at a time
Spending countless hours hiking in the White Mountains taught me how to slow down, pay attention, and find beauty in what's real rather than what's arranged. That's the same approach I bring to every elopement – helping you feel at ease, move through the day at your own pace, and walk away with images that feel like your experience, not a version of it built for the camera.
I've photographed White Mountains elopements across every season – golden fall foliage along the Kancamagus highway, quiet snow-dusted mountain views in the winter, the soft new-green light of spring. Each one offers something different, and part of my role as your photographer is helping you find the version that actually fits you.

How I approach your day

Before we ever reach the mountain, we'll have already worked through everything that tends to stress couples out — where to go, when to go, what permits you need, what the weather might do, how the day should flow. I take care of that so it's off your plate entirely. You're not managing logistics on your wedding day. You're just there, living it.
Once we're on the mountain, I stay present but out of the way. I'm capturing what's actually happening. The real reactions. The in-between quiet. The parts you won't remember perfectly on your own but will want to see again later. You'll have room to hike, to laugh, to sit somewhere beautiful and just exist together.

“Caroleanne was the best decision we made for our elopement. She helped us choose the perfect mountain in the White Mountains and turned our sunrise hike into an unforgettable adventure. From the planning to the day itself, she made everything feel intentional, calm, and exciting all at once."

"If you are in search for an elopement photographer, Caroleanne is the best!! She was so helpful every step of the way answering all of my questions and helping us pick the perfect location. The day of, she guided us up the mountain for sunrise and it truly was perfect. She came super prepared and helped us carry everything up along with her many cameras. We got to become husband and wife with our dog and the most beautiful mountain view."

Where to Elope in the White Moutains
Part of planning your day together means finding the place that actually fits you — not just what photographs well, but what matches your fitness level, your group size, and the feeling you're chasing. Some couples want a sunrise hike to a summit like Mount Willard. Others are drawn to the dramatic cliffside views at Cathedral Ledge, the classic Franconia or Crawford Notch, or a slower day along the Kancamagus highway surrounded by foliage. There's no single right way to elope in the White Mountains — only the way that's right for you, and finding it is part of what I help with.

Best Time to Elope in the White Mountains
Every season here feels different, and there's no wrong one — just a different experience. Fall brings the foliage everyone dreams about, along with more planning around crowds and booking early. Winter is quiet and dramatic, with far fewer people on the trails. Summer gives you long daylight and lush green landscapes. Spring means fuller waterfalls and a calmer version of the mountains before the busier months arrive. Figuring out which season fits the day you're imagining is something we'll work through together.
